Rose Palace Nursery

I found Palace Rose Nursery after looking around for some special hibiscuses. Well, they really do have many wonderful hibiscuses. They not only produce large flowers, they bear plenty of them and come in many brilliant colours

The owner of the nursery, Keith Tang, not only sell plants. He also grows the hibiscuses himself. The other plants that he grows include calla lilies, curcumas and begonias.

The nursery was packed with many delightful ferns, trailing annuals, succulents, cacti, shrubs, culinary herbs, bulb plants and many foliage plants that are suitable for indoor use.

The nursery opens daily from 8.30am to 6.00pm.

There are many ornamentals cum edibles in the nursery. I was surprised to find aloe vera and even lemon grass too.

And if you are those adventurous gardeners who love to try out foreign plants like currants and blueberries, this is the right place to be.

Plant Variety Rating: 4.00 | I really like this pink hibiscus. It is a unique hybrid and imported.

They carry some special rose hybrids as well.

The calla lilies are one of the nursery's specialties. They are all located at the back and in bloom. The blooms come in white, black, pink and peach.

Plant Condition Rating: 4.50 | The plants are generally in excellent condition.

There is a rack of curcumas with pale pink blooms that look extremely pleasing.

The foliage plants are all planted in pots that are new and clean. Those of the same kind and size are all grouped together in rows.

Layout Rating: 4.25 |
The nursery has ample walking space. Almost all plants are under the shade. So it is so comfortable to walk around to inspect the plants especially those on the racks.

Garden Products Rating: 4.25 | There are so types of pots at the back of the nursery and they come in many sizes, shapes and colours.

Besides pots, they also sell seeds and other garden supplies.

This place is not cheap, but the plants are really in top-notch condition.

They carry some sanseviera species that I have not seen elsewhere.

Anthuriums and hanging baskets also very healthy.

Hello Stephanie! Dropping a note here hoping to get your advice on which nursery in KL one should go looking for exotic plants i.e. variegated monstera, gloriosum, alocasia and caladium in various species, variergated banana, philodendron pink princess, etc. Wondering if you would be so kind to shed light? Thank you!

The Sungai Buloh Green Lane is a good place to start with. There are a number of nurseries situated along that road. Try searching for the plants there...
