Kedai Bunga Hazira

Here's one interesting find... on my recent field trip to Klang, I reached Kampung Kebun Bunga and wondered if I could find some awesome nurseries here since the name of place means 'garden/nursery village' in English.

I decided to ask a local who was just coming out from a shop and she spontaneously replied with a chuckle, "Hmm... this is Kampung Kebun Bunga no doubt but I don't know of any kebun bunga (nursery)" here. Then she recalled that there is probably a kedai bunga (flower shop). After making a few turns, I did manage to find the kedai bunga she was referring to, which turned out to be a nursery!

Kedai Bunga Hazira is probably the only nursery that's located at Kampung Kebun Bunga. It's a good nursery for the locals to get gardening supplies.

Plant Variety Rating: 3.00 | There are lots of interesting foliage plants.

Snake plants, never-never plant, calathea, costus, garden croton and rubber plants are all placed on the ground for easy picking.

Plant Condition Rating: 3.00 | Most of the plants are in acceptable condition.

Layout Rating: 3.50 | Most of the plants are placed on the ground.

Garden Products Rating: 3.50 | They sell nice pots and decorative garden items.

What a trip ah Stephanie?

The Bryophyllum from your neck of the woods, is a cultural icon in our culture, an isle in the other side of the world.

See you...

I had never heard of a never-never plant before, they are pretty! And, I like those leaf-shaped stepping stones. :)

Malay-Kadazan girl, is the same for me. I love going into a kampung nursery as well. The owners are always friendly!

antigonum cajan, Bryophyllum is a plant that can grow well here in our climate as well ;-)

Diane AZ, I like those leaf-shaped stones too :-D For me, never-never plant is not so easy to grow.

I've been this nursery before!!=D
But I guess the village's name is Kampung Jalan Kebun, not Kampung Kebun Bunga.
Correct me if I'm wrong.
