I spotted this nursery along the very busy Batang Kali main road while on my way back to KL from Kuala Kubu Baru, via Rawang. And what an interesting find it was! Although the nursery is not so big in size, I spent some time browsing their plants. You will know the reason later ;-)
As I stepped into its compound, I saw a little shed that looks like a house which is built right at the entrance...

Besides the house shed, there is also a gazebo with outdoor seats at the right hand side. Together, they make the place look cosy and nice. I was greeted by Ahmad, the attendant present on that day.

Fizco Creative has been in business for seven years and opens from 8.00am to 7.00pm daily.
Plant Variety Rating: 4.0 | There are lots of beautiful tropical ferns, flowering plants and shrubs, creepers and even aquatic plants.
The collection of aquatic plants that are placed at the back of the house shed is quite impressive. They have mosaic plant, rough horsetail, water lily, water hyacinth, water lettuce, sawah lettuce, water pennywort and colocasia (pics below).

The variegated giant taro that was next to the aquatic plants was looking great.

In the shades, on the left hand side of the nursery, were many small and nice shrubs like calathea and mandarin plant (chlorophytum).

There were also some nice euphorbia milii, alamanda, spider tresses and kock's bauhinia.

Plant Condition Rating: 4 | Generally, most of the plants are in good condition - like the garden crotons and rubber plants.

Layout Rating: 3.75 | The nursery has shade for small shrubs. The sun-loving shrubs and aquatic plants are placed in the open.

Garden Products Rating: 3.0 | There are a number of ceramic pots, soil and fertiliser in stock.
