ANS Nursery

ANS Nursery is not just an ordinary nursery, it is also a big farm that grows beautiful annuals like celosia plumosa, zinnia, marigolds and coleus. After visiting this nursery, I was very assured that many pretty flower plants can be grown well here in the tropics and in lowlands.

It is a wonderful experience to have discovered this nursery cum farm that is located in a quiet and remote corner, off the main Subang Airport Road. If you are around the area, you may want to visit the place to see some of the colourful blooms here.

The nursery opens to public daily from 8.00am to 5.00pm.

Plant Variety Rating: 3.50 | The plants here are mostly small flowering annuals.

I was told that they have about 30 varieties of plants in this farm. But the plants that are flowering during my visit were marigolds, zinnia and celosia plumosia.

They have big palms and Chinese fringe flower plants in big black bags right at the entrance of the premises.

Plant Condition Rating: 4.50 | The plants here are at different growth stages and are all in good condition. Some have just germinated and propagated and some were already blooming.

Layout Rating: 4.0 | Most of the plants are protected with nursery netting and arranged orderly on the ground. There is a big aisle right in the centre of the nursery, like a road that leads to the end of the nursery. So, there is no problem accessing and going around to inspect the plants.

Garden Products Rating: N/A | This nursery is more like a farm than a commercial nursery. Hence I didn't notice any pots or gardening supplies here.

The nursery is located near Apiit Smart School at Seksyen U3, along the road leading to the National Shooting Association Malaysia. To view the map, click here.
