Kelopak Emas
Kelopak Emas is situated along Jalan Klang-Banting, immediately after Jalan Langat in Klang. This nursery has been in business at this site for about two years, operating from 8.00am to 7.30pm daily.

I was initially not drawn to the place as the entrance looks very normal. But upon entering the premises, I immediately realised that this is a pretty huge nursery with a large variety of shrubs, ferns, trees and flowering plants.

Plant Variety Rating: 4.5 | More than 300 types of plants.
While having all kinds trees, palms, cycads, agaves and flowering shrubs, they are also well stocked with a number of small potted flower plants.

I noticed plants like bougainvillea, lantana, allamanda, purple sage, Chinese croton, kampung rose, ginger plant, bucida and ficus.

Different types of portulaca are also available.

Plant Condition Rating: 4 | Most of the plants are in good condition.
I found many healthy looking plants like anthurium, petunia, euphorbia milii, crysanthemum, scarlet star bromeliad, oxalis, peace lily, money plant, desert rose, spider plant, dieffenbachia, begonia, cacti, nong nooch vine and coin plant placed under shade nets.

Layout Rating: 4 | As most of the plants are placed on racks and arranged in plots, it is easy to move from one plot to another. The aisles are clear and easy to walk on. The potted flowering plants are hung and displayed on racks while the trees and shurbs are out in the open.

Garden Product Rating: 3.5 | There are a number of ceramic pots. I also saw some seeds at a corner as well. Gazebos are available as part of their landscaping services.

To get to this nursery, slow down (otherwise you might miss it!) after the Jalan Johan Setia-Jalan Pandamaran junction if you are travelling towards the Banting direction. There was a watermelon stall (not sure if this is a permanent feature though) right before the place. For the map, click here.
