Xin Yoong Nursery @ Garden Mart - CLOSED
Xin Yoong Nursery is not only a nursery but also a specialist in wholesaling of plants, landscaping, turfing, plant renting and construction of waterfalls and fountains.
This nursery, located at Garden Mart, opens daily from 8.00am to 7.00pm and sells a lot of tropical plants.
Plant Variety Rating: 4 | About 100 types of tropical ornamental palms, shrubs, trees, climbers, ground covers as well as aquatic plants. Mostly young and in-between in terms of age.
There is a big open space at the front of the nursery and a lot of young plants are placed here such as croton, dracaena, bougainvillea, beautifully trimmed fringe flower plant, euphorbia milii, juniper, desert rose, rain lily, snake plant, cyperus, ficus and lipstick palm.
Under the shades are plants placed on racks and some hung. These include ferns, shrubs and flower plants like calathea, caladium, anthurium, orchid, espiscia, philodendron, boston compacta fern, copper leaf, aglaonema, dieffenbachia, crassula, peace lily, water lily and compact yucca.
Plant Condition Rating: 3.75 | The plants are in generally good condition.
Layout Rating: 3.75 | The place is fairly organised with plants arranged on racks, some hung and some placed on the ground although some parts are a bit cramped.
Garden Products Rating: 3.5 | There are a variety of ornamental ceramic and plastic pots. Soil and fertilisers are found here too.
