Weng Thye Brothers @ Garden Mart
Operating from 8.00am to 7.00pm daily, Weng Thye Brothers Ceramics Trading has been at Garden Mart for the past two years, since the place was opened.
Aside from retailing plants and ceramic products, they also do landscaping for their customers. One thing that striked me most about this nursery is the variety of stones/gravels they have. Below are buckets of gravel samples and choices.
They are well-stocked with these gravels and slabs as they are importer and distributor of home and gardening products. Their landscape products are imported from India, Indonesia, Myanmar, Vietnam, Brazil, China, Cambodia, Germany, Philippines, Taiwan, Thailand and Spain.
Plant Variety Rating: 4 | About 100 types of tropical ornamental palm, shrubs, trees, climbers, ground cover as well as aquatic plants. Mostly young or in-between in terms of age.
They have beautiful trees and shrubs like dwarf geometry trees, cordylines, aglaonema hybrids, anthuriums, calatheas, crotons, costus and paperbark.
Other plants that are available are pentas, episcias, mosquito plant, petunia, rose, vinca, norfolk island pine, bougainvillea and small palm.
Plant Condition Rating: 4 | The plants are mostly in good condition.
I saw many beautiful ferns like philodendron, dieffenbachia, caladium, money plant, macho fern, bird's nest fern and snake plant.
Layout Rating: 3.5 | Plants are quite neatly hung and arranged on racks and ground. Moving around the nursery was not difficult but I found some areas a bit tight.
Garden Products Rating: 4.5 | There are a variety of ornamental ceramic and plastic pots, aquatic pots and many hardscape products like stones, concrete slabs etc.
The garden duck ornament you see in the collage below were on 50% discount when I was there. They also have a variety of pots in ceramic, plastic and glass in all shapes, colours and sizes that look very interesting. As with other nurseries, they sell soil and fertilisers too.

They have nice collection of stones/gravels
Their service sucks big time. Avoid them. There are many other choices.
