City Rock Garden

City Rock Garden has its signage aptly written on a rock. You would definitely not miss it if you are driving along Jalan Sungai Buloh!

The nursery opens daily from 7.00am to 7.00pm. Its services include providing gardening advice and tips as well as planning, creating and maintaining gardens.

Plant Variety Rating: 3 | More that 50 types of plants.

I saw flowering shrubs like ruellia rosea, ixora, frangipani, leopard flower, flaming beauty and lantana.

There were also some big palm trees and bird's nest ferns.

Plant Condition Rating: 3.5 | The plants are generally average in condition.

At one part of the nursery, the plants are grouped together by types. However, only the plants in front could the condition be assessed as they are placed very close to one another, making it hard to check out the ones at the back. The nursery looks more like a stock holding place for the company's landscaping project!

Layout Rating: 3.5 | Most of the plants are placed in the open. There is a small road in the middle of the nursery for vehicles to pass through. Hence, the plants are arranged at the sides, along the road, from one end to the other end of the nursery.

There are smaller plants in front of a house/office.

Some of the plants are already in pots.

Products Rating: 3 | There are a number of ornamental ceramic garden products.

The nursery is located at Jalan Sungai Buloh (along the main road). For directions, click here.

Did you check the price? It will be nice if they are wholesaler that can sell lower than market price.

No, they are not a wholesaler. And, I didn't check the price. It would be nice if they are. Normally the nurseries here do not put price tag on their plants, so I have to go shopping a few nurseries first before buying a plant.

It most be hard to shop if no price tag, you have to ask them the price for every single item. Do you think the plants at Ikea is expensive in you town?

Stephanie said...

For me, the price at Ikea is reasonable and plant condition is good too. But choice is limited. They have a lot of ferns and succulent houseplants only.
