Hew Pang Keong
The large banner below, along Jalan Sungai Buloh-Subang a.k.a. Selangor Green Lane, led me to find many beautiful roses at this nursery.
With about five years of experience, Hew Pang Keong specialises in rose planting. It is opened daily from 9.00am to 7.00pm.
The rose plants that are cultivated here thrive better in tropical condition as opposed to imported ones, said the owner. Aside from retailing rose plants, they also provide gardening services for their customers.
Most of the rose plants are placed on racks in the open with no shelter. As I walk from one area to another, I found many kinds of roses.
Plant Variety Rating: 4 | About 500 types of roses ranging from young, in-between and matured plants in terms of age. There are a vast variety of colours and I am sure that everyone would be able to find his/her desired hybrid tea, floribundas, grandifloras, shrubs/hedges, climbers and even miniature roses in this nursery.
I also spotted a green rose (below) at one corner of the nursery.
They sell a number of orchid, jasmine and hibiscus plants as well.
Plant Condition Rating: 4 | All the plants look healthy and are in pretty good condition.
Layout Rating: 4 | The plants are neatly arranged on racks as well as on the ground according to their age and as much as possible, by types. The orderly layout makes it easy to walk and browse around the nursery.
Products Rating: 1 | They don't have many garden products except soil and in-house produced fertiliser. Even the choices of pot are limited.

Barry, Oh, I hope the aphids will not disturb the pot of miniature rose I bought from this nursery. Btw, the rose is beautiful. TQ for sharing!
Hi Stephanie,
lovely! my dad loves roses. how's the price range?
Hi Stephanie,
Your blog is very informative. Currently, I am gathering info on nurseries in Malaysia that cultivate/sell roses for my blog. I have grown over 70 types of roses in my garden. If it's not too much, I appreciate it if you could share some of the nurseries that you already know.

Hi Rough~Rose, so glad you dropped by! I myself is learning how to plant rose better. So far, I have only found this nursery specialising in roses. I would keep you posted if I find another one. Have a great day!
