Mohd Noor Agriculture & Farm

This is one of two nurseries found along the highway leading to the old leprosy centre at Sungai Buloh. I was greeted by an attendant who followed me around as I walked about the nursery. The man looked really honest, so I felt rather safe especially in one instance when I was frightened by a lizard in one of the bushes there :-P Well, he shooed it away with his hand and told me that it wasn't the dangerous kind... haha, who could tell the difference, right?!

Anyway it has been awhile since I last checked out a nursery, so I was hoping that this one will have some plants for me to take home. While I was wowed by the variety, the appearance of the plants here did not quite get me go shopping-crazy ;-)

Mohd Noor's nursery opens from 8.00am to 7.00pm daily.

Plant Variety Rating: 3.75 | There are lots of annuals, orchids, flowering shrubs and vines and mostly shrubs.

Besides ornamentals, the nursery has a number of fruit trees like lemon, ciku, guava, longan and mangoes. Besides fruit tree saplings, there are medicinal plants like the misai kucing (Orthosiphon stamineus)

Amongst the plants, I spotted some that love the shade like the aglaonema, anthurium, caladium and a lot more.

Plant Condition Rating: 2.75 | Most plants are in average condition.

Layout Rating: 3.00 | Though the main paths are clear of obstruction, the plants are not so orderly arranged.

Garden Products Rating: 2.00 | There are some containers and garden supplies.
