Ace Hardware @ Ikano

During a visit to Ace Hardware's Ikano Power Centre outlet on 8 April 2009, I was greeted by a number of lovely plants at the entrance of the shop.

They were mostly common tropical houseplants like Anthurium, Bird’s Nest, Calathea and Jade and Money Plant. Besides that, there were also some flower plants for those who like blooms. Some of the plants were placed inside as well.

Ace Hardware opens daily from 10.00am to 10.00pm.

Plant Variety Rating: 2
| Less than 20 types of plants, mostly ferns. The plants are in-between in terms of age. Some are flower plants.
Plant Condition Rating: 4 | The plants looked fresh like they just came from the nursery.

Layout Rating: 3.5 | The pots and gardening accessories are all quite neatly arranged on racks and all price tagged.

Garden Products Rating: 4.5
| There are a variety of planters and fertilisers as well as gardening tools and ornaments. A wide range of plastic and ceramic pots and gardening accessories are stacked up to fill all retail spaces.

Gardening furniture and water feature ornaments are available as well.

At one corner of the shop, there are also a rack of seeds. And they sell soil too.

Welcome

I enjoy gardening and visiting nurseries and garden retailers. Here I will share what I see with reviews and ratings, from 1 (poor) to 5 (excellent).

My aim is to help you find a vendor near you and to encourage more people to be interested in greening the earth in a natural way i.e. by adding greens to their home!

Greens make a garden. The various gardening ideas published here are for you to get new inspirations for your garden. If you would like to advertise on this site or have a nursery that you would like me to review, please feel free to drop me a note by email.

Your feedback and comments are most appreciated and welcomed. Have a blessed day working on your garden!

Cheers, Stephanie
